Abstract:
Provided is a washing machine capable of washing ordinary laundry and fragile laundry together. The washing machine (1) comprises: an outer tub (3), which can store water; a washing tub (4), which is rotatable about an axis (J) extending in the up and down direction (Z) and is housed in the outer tub (3); and a stirring member (7) which is provided at a bottom (4D) of the washing tub (4) and rotates about the axis J, thereby stirring the laundry in a main accommodating space (4E). The washing tub (4) has the main accommodating space (4E) for accommodating laundry. A sub accommodating space (7A) for accommodating laundry is provided inside the stirring member (7).
