PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a waste collection vehicle to enhance safety and working efficiency when casting wastes into an opening/closing type waste chute provided in the floor face of a platform.SOLUTION: A waste casting method in a waste treatment facility, where the floor face of a platform 2 provided in the waste pit 1 of the waste treatment facility is provided with an opening/closing type waste chute 6 through which a waste collection vehicle 3 can pass at each predetermined interval in a direction of separating from the waste pit 1, comprises a step where the waste collection vehicle 3 having approached the platform 2 advances straight to run over the closed waste chute 6, a step where the waste collection vehicle 3 having run over the waste chute 6 stops at a discharge position which enables waste casting into the waste chute, a step of opening the waste chute 6 after the waste collection vehicle 3 stops, a step where the waste collection vehicle 3 casts wastes into the opened waste chute 6, a step where the waste collection vehicle 3 having cast wastes advances straight to leave the platform 2, and a step of closing the opened waste chute 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
