Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system capable of properly acquiring movement of a person to be watched from a remote point.SOLUTION: The monitoring system includes: a frequency value calculation section that calculates a movement frequency value which represents the frequency of the movement in a first area where the movement of the object person is monitored in images of the object person and a movement frequency value which represents the frequency of movement in a second area neighboring to the first area; and a determination section that determines a movement frequency value which is excluded from the movement frequency value acquired as the movement of the object person in the movement frequency value in the first area on the basis of the variation amount in the movement frequency value in the second area as time passes.
