Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-cooling jacket capable of suppressing water leak in the outer casing jacket of a concentrate burner, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: A water-cooling jacket 80 is a water-cooling jacket that is provided outside of a nozzle comprising a passageway for copper concentrate at the top of a reaction shaft of a flash furnace and functions as an outer casing constituting a passageway for reaction gas between the nozzle and itself, and comprises copper pipes 81, 82 cast in metal as flow channels for cooling water. A plurality of copper pipes are provided and they are connected to cooling water supply means independently of each other, and further, preferably, are provided being divided into a plurality of sections with respect to the outer periphery of the nozzle. Also, the method for producing water-cooling jacket includes casting a copper pipe, which functions as a flow channel for cooling water, in metal, to provide the copper pipe within the water-cooling jacket.
