Abstract:
To provide a water heater enabling water discharge intended by a user while preventing waste hot water when a bathtub plug is intentionally opened.SOLUTION: A water heater includes: a bathtub plug state detection section for detecting an opening/closing state of a bathtub plug for opening/closing a drain port of a bathtub; and a control section for controlling setting and cancelling of an automatic water level adjustment function to automatically perform an adjustment operation for adjusting a water level of the bathtub to a set water level. When detecting an opening state of the bathtub plug while the automatic water level adjustment function is set, the control section performs function cancellation processing for forcedly cancelling the setting of the automatic water level adjustment function. The function cancellation processing is performed after elapsed time after detection of the opening state of the bathtub plug exceeds a prescribed time. When the closing state of the bathtub plug is detected before the elapsed time exceeds the prescribed time, the function cancellation processing is not performed and function continuation processing for continuing the setting of the automatic water level adjustment function is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
