Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cleaning apparatus for a cooling tower for removing fine foreign matter in cooling water without requiring frequent maintenance and suppressing the quality deterioration of cooling water. SOLUTION: This water cleaning apparatus for the cooling tower has a housing container 31 which is arranged in a water gathering tray in the cooling tower provided for the air conditioning of a building and filled with chlorite- schist and of which the water inlet and outlet sides are partitioned with a perforated plate, and a water guide pipe 33 for guiding cooling water issued from the perforated plate on the water outlet side to a place separated from the housing container 31 in the water gathering tray and the water outlet 32a of the water guide pipe 33 is positioned in a water gathering range 23 where water in the periphery of a drain port is gathered by the suction force generated with a circulating pump 7.
