Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purifier having a compact structure of using hydraulic power for purifying a body of water abiding in a qualitatively degraded state such as river water, etc. by enhancing the dissolved oxygen concentration thereof, affording a low operative cost because of requiring no other power, and easy to maintain and manage.SOLUTION: The exit port of a water transport pipe 5 into which the water of a river, etc. is scheduled to be introduced by taking advantage of a drop is connected to the upper portion of an agitation tank 10, and an impeller 31 for receiving water streaming in from the water transport pipe 5 and at least one disc-shaped brush 35 are impaled, in proper order, by and fixed to a main axle 25 configured rotatably on the upper portion of the middle portion of the agitation tank 10. An air introduction unit 8 is additionally configured on an appropriate site of the water transport pipe 5, and the stream of water of a river, etc. is allowed to flow into the agitation tank 10 so that the impeller 31 and disc-shaped brush 35 are jointly rotated so as to agitate and mix the inflowing water and air taken in via the air introduction unit 8 by an ejector function. The resulting water including fine bubbles is discharged into another body of water via a discharge port 13.
