Abstract:
To provide a water-repellent composition for paper, which imparts excellent slip-preventing properties while retaining water repellency.SOLUTION: A water-repellent composition for paper contains a film-forming resin (A) and wax (B). A solubility parameter SPof the film-forming resin (A) ranges from 8.3 to 9.1; and a softening point of the wax (B) ranges from 40 to 95°C; and a solid content mass ratio (A):(B) of the film-forming resin (A) and the wax (B) ranges from 99:1 to 85:15.SELECTED DRAWING: None
