Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-soluble yellow pigment (compound) having high water solubility and excellent in a variety of fastness such as water proofness, moisture proofness, ozone gas resistance, wear resistance, and light resistance, particularly excellent in ozone gas resistance, and to provide a yellow ink composition for printing, particularly for ink-jet printing, including the same.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a water-soluble azo compound illustrated by formula (12) and the like, comprising a pyrazolone compound having a carboxy group as a coupling component, or salt thereof.
