Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment method capable of absorbing and easily removing a plurality kinds of metal ions in water to be treated at high efficiency as well as reducing the amount of sludge generated after a treatment.SOLUTION: There is provided a water treatment method for removing at least a part of ions from water to be treated containing the ions which is targets for removal. The method has a process for adding a polymer coagulant to the water to be treated after containing an ion adsorption material which adsorbs ions and an aluminum compound with the water to be treated under a condition with pH 8.0 or more and the ion adsorption material is a powdery article, a particulate article or a pellet containing carbonate and at least one of oxide and hydroxide.SELECTED DRAWING: None
