Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately determine degradation of a power cable in an extremely short time without increasing the cost.SOLUTION: Electric charge is accumulated by applying a first pulse voltage to a CV cable 6, and the accumulated charge is discharged by grounding. Then, a second pulse voltage is applied, initial residual charge, of the residual charge accumulated in a degradation part, is discharged, and a second current value is measured. Then, a reference pulse voltage is applied, a reference current value is measured, and the existence of degradation of the power cable is determined on the basis of the difference between the second current value and the reference current value.
