Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength conversion member, which can be produced at a low cost, and further with which temporal variation in chromaticity of light can be suppressed when used for a light source device.SOLUTION: A wavelength conversion member has: a phosphor which converts at least a part of wavelengths of incident light and emits emitted light with a wavelength different from that of the incident light; a light diffusion element which diffuses at least one of the incident light and the emitted light; and a base material which holds the light diffusion element. In the wavelength conversion member, the light diffusion element is a silicone resin, and the base material includes a hydrogenated styrene-based copolymer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
