Abstract:
The shed forming mechanism of a loom has a rotating electric actuator (1) within an electrically conductive chamber (100). It has an electrically insulated body (10) containing a rotor and a stator, with at least one coil and an armature. A tongue (30) gives an electrical contact between the armature and the chamber to prevent a surge of static electricity towards the supply circuit and/or the control. The tongue has two legs (32,33) to give an armature contact, and also a center setting where the tongue is immobilized against the body.
