Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight measurement system and a weight measurement method with use of a robot, by which a weight can be measured even if the weight exceeds a load capacity of the robot.SOLUTION: A weight measurement system 10 has a robot 16, a robot control device 18 for controlling motion of the robot 16, and an arithmetic processing unit 20 for performing weight calculation of an object to be measured and so on. The robot 16 adds a force to a point of action connected to a tank 14 so that at least one support point or a part of a support face of the tank 14 is floated, and at the same time, parts other than the floated point or the floated part of the support face takes a grounded posture. From a relationship between a force added to the point of action by the robot 16 and a lever ratio, a weight of the tank 14 containing a working liquid 12 can be measured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
