Abstract:
To provide a body weight measuring system that excels in portability and improves the confidentiality of information pertaining to a measured body weight.SOLUTION: As a body weight measuring system 100A, a configuration is adopted that comprises a portable body weight measuring unit 200A for measuring body weight information; and a portable information processing device 300, capable of communicating with the portable body weight measuring unit 200A when arranged in the periphery of the portable body weight measuring unit 200A, for calculating a measured body weight on the basis of body weight information and displaying the calculated body weight. The configuration further includes: a planar load sensor arranged in a measurement area assumed to be subject to the application of a load that corresponds to the body weight of a person whose body weight is to be measured when the portable body weight measuring unit 200A takes the body weight information measurement attitude of either a foot tip side standing attitude or a rear foot side standing attitude, a transmission unit for transmitting the result of measurement by the planar load sensor to the portable information processing device 300; a planar base member on which the planar load sensor and the transmission unit are disposed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
