Abstract:
To provide a welding device for manufacturing a slide member, which can reduce evaporation of additives, disperse additives evenly and further improve sliding performance.SOLUTION: A welding device 10 according to one embodiment welds a wire 12 by arc-welding to a base material 11 to form a slidable layer of a slide member. The welding device 10 comprises a wire supply part 13 and an additive supply part 20. The wire supply part 13 supplies a wire 12 that becomes a matrix constituting the slidable layer. The additive supply part 20 supplies an additive 21 which is added to the matrix, to melted droplets 15 melted by electric discharge between the wire 12 supplied from the wire supply part 13 and the base material 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
