Abstract:
To stabilize a welded material weld quantity.SOLUTION: An unplanned contact situation or the like occurs between welded materials by confirming that an electrode is moved by a prescribed displacement magnitude or more, and by confirming that a value of resistance in an electric conduction path is lowered to a predetermined value or less. Notwithstanding a contact area at a joint site does not reach a planned area, it can be confirmed that contact situation between the welded materials becomes a situation suitable for welding while excluding a situation such that only the value of resistance becomes the prescribed value or less. Electric current of application condition suitable for joining between the welded materials is applied thereby starting welding after confirmation that contact situation between the welded materials becomes a situation suitable for welding, whereby electric current is applied under optimum application condition and welding can be performed after confirmation of the planned contact situation, and therefore, a weld quality can be stabilized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
