Abstract:
To provide welding equipment that can secure exactness of welding for small-diameter piping undoubtedly and for middle/large-diameter piping in particular with sufficient working accuracy and can be easily reduced in size and weight, and accordingly allows for improvement of convenience of handling.SOLUTION: Welding equipment 1 comprises: an annular base part 2 fixed to an outer periphery of a cylindrical object 200a to be welded; a gear row mechanism 25 having a plurality rows of annular gear rows 23 including a plurality of first gears 21 and a plurality of second gears 22 which are arranged annularly along the base part 2 and mesh with each other alternately; a turning gear 28 having an inner tooth 27 which is meshed with the first gears 21 of any annular gear row 23; a turning base 5 which is fixed to the turning gear 28, freely moves in a circumferential direction of the base part 2 and supports a welding head 3; and a plurality of electric motors 6, each of which is provided for each annular gear row 23 and which generate individually driving force to be transmitted to the first gears 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
