Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weld monitoring system and a weld monitoring method which allow for highly accurate and multifaceted monitoring of a weld zone with relatively simple configuration.SOLUTION: A weld monitoring system for monitoring a subject is constituted of a mechanical unit and an imaging unit. The mechanical unit includes a transport arm for transporting the subject, a subject holding section for holding the subject, and an electrification device for welding the subject. The imaging unit includes imaging means for acquiring the imaging data of the subject, a data recording section for recording the imaging data, an analysis section for extracting a prescribed feature from the imaging data, a comparison judgement section for judging whether or not there is an abnormality, by comparing the extracted feature with a normal feature, and a judgement result output section for outputting the judgement results from the comparison judgement section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
