Abstract:
To provide a wheel drive device of an in-wheel motor structure which is suitably provided with a brake gear.SOLUTION: A wheel unit 10 includes cylindrical wheels 11, rotary electric machines 12 which are stored in the radial inner side of the wheels 11 and rotate the wheels 11, and a brake gear 13 which has a brake disk 61 and a brake caliper 62 and generates a braking force for the wheels 11. The rotary electric machines 12 has a rotor 30 and a stator 40 which are opposite to each other in a radial direction and is provided with a hollow part on the radial inner side of a magnetic circuit part composed of the rotor 30 and the fixer 40. In such a state that the brake caliper 62 is fixed on an axial end surface of the stator 40 and the brake disk 61 is rotated integrally with the rotor 30, the brake gear 13 is provided within the hollow part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
