Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical-or-dental examination-and-treatment wheelchair auxiliary instrument which is designed to allow examination-and-treatment including medical-or-dental examination-and-treatment to be given to patients as physically-disabled persons continuing to increase by the deterioration of bodily functions weakening owing to aging and aftereffects of disease with the patients seated on wheelchairs.SOLUTION: The auxiliary instrument is detachable and is intended to allow patients to receive examination-and-treatment with the patients seated on the wheelchairs during medical-or-dental examination-and-treatment. The auxiliary instrument is made up of a plurality of air mats, guides the patients onto the wheelchairs after mounted on the wheelchair in a previously shrunk condition, and forms examination-and-treatment postures by inflating each of the air mats during examination-and-treatment of the patients.
