To provide a motor-driven wheelchair instantaneously switching wheels to any direction through 180 degrees and traveling forward and backward.

A fixed front chassis 12 is provided with a mounting arm 10a for a freely rotating wheel 13a and a movable chassis 11a. A fixed rear chassis 21 is provided with a mounting arm 10b for a freely rotating wheel 13b and a movable chassis 11b. The movable chassis 11b is loaded with a wheel driving motor 6b, a mounting arm 8b for a driving wheel 9b, and a reduction gear 5b. A wheel angle control shaft 17 and the driving wheels 9a, 9b are connected to each other through a front wheel angle control wire 24 and a rear wheel angle control wire 20. The fixed rear chassis 21 is loaded with an electronic circuit (not shown) for controlling the operation, and a battery 23 for driving the motor and the electronic circuit.
