Abstract:
To provide a wire connection tool which enables easy assembly and is highly safe.SOLUTION: A metal fitting 100 that is a wire connection tool and includes: a first body 1 having a fixed groove M for fitting a wire 9 therein to fix the wire 9; a gear 4 for pressing the wire 9 to the fixed groove M; a second body 2 which presses the gear 4 to the fixed groove M; and a bolt 5 which fastens the first body 1 to the second body 2. The second body 2 is formed with a recessed part 24 which houses the gear 4, overlaps with the fixed groove M when viewed in a depth direction of the fixed groove M, and is recessed in a direction away from the fixed groove M. A depth of the recessed part 24 deepens from one side to the other side along an extension direction of the fixed groove M.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
