Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire lock for an umbrella which is easy to use and has a simple structure.SOLUTION: A wire lock for an umbrella 10 includes: a ring-shaped wire 11; a clip 12; and a ring 13. The clip for gripping the umbrella has right and left clip pieces 12a, 12b which are connected with a pin 14 so as to be rotatable, and through-holes 15a, 15b are formed at an end thereof. The wire inserted into the through-holes joins both ends to form a closed loop 11a. When a handgrip of the umbrella is pinched by the right and left clip pieces, and the closed loop is twisted and intertwined, the closed loop becomes small so as to make tongue pieces 16a, 16b approach each other. As a result, the clip can grip the umbrella. The wire, which is formed in a rope-like shape by being intertwined, is wound around a seat tube of a bicycle, and an almost U-shaped latch portion of a horseshoe lock is inserted into the ring so as to lock a rear wheel of the bicycle.
