To control beams and beam widths of transmission and reception antennas by eliminating necessity of control of a base station device and distance information on an optical fiber.SOLUTION: A radio communication method for a radio communication system comprising an accommodation station device and a base station device for performing beam formation according to control by the accommodation station device includes: the accommodation station device performing beam forming control on the base station device by transmitting, to the base station device via an optical transmission line, an optical modulation signal generated by performing intensity modulation on an optical signal on the basis of a transmission signal of a transmission target by controlling a combination of any of a light wavelength, a frequency, or light polarized wave or a frequency or light wavelength; and the base station device distributing the optical modulation signal or an electric signal based on the optical modulation signal using one or more distributors before inputting it to a beam formation circuit having a plurality of input ports to form a beam in a direction corresponding to an input port through which the electric signal is input.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
