Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize operation of a power reception device.SOLUTION: A power reception device 300 receives a power signal S2 from a wireless power transmission device. A receiver antenna 301 includes a receiver coil Ls for receiving the power signal. A rectification circuit 304 rectifies an AC current Iflowing in the receiver antenna 301 and an output of the rectification circuit 304 is smoothed by a smoothing capacitor 306. An overvoltage detection circuit 316 compares a rectification voltage Vgenerated in the smoothing capacitor 306 with an overvoltage threshold value V. A modulator 310 varies a parallel resonance frequency of the receiver antenna 301. A discharge circuit 330 can switch between an enable state and a disable state and becomes the enable state during a communication period by the modulator 310 to discharge charges in the smoothing capacitor 306.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
