Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a lead terminal for a piezoelectric component in which the fluctuation of an output waveform caused by external shock and vibration is less.
CONSTITUTION: A prescribed amount of press oil 25 including ≥1wt.% of nonvolatile component is provided to 7 surface of a metallic raw material 21. Then a cut line 17 is given to the metallic raw material 21 by a press machine in matching with the shape of a lead terminal 11. An electrode chip section 11a of the lead terminal 11 is made up of a non-folded part 111 and a folded part 112. Then the press machine is used to fold the folded part 112 and to provide the press oil 25 to a gap between the non-folded part 111 and the folded part 112. The press oil 25 exposed to the electrode chip 11a is evaporated resulting that the press oil 25 or the nonvolatile component remained after the press oil 25 is evaporated is provided to the gap between the non-folded part 111 and the folded part 112.
