Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a weft by a weft sensor capable of advancing into a warp opening.SOLUTION: A weft sensor approaches a woven fabric and a warp sheet during beating, so that the amount of received light is increased, and the voltage of a detection signal V1 reaches a saturated level. The detection signal V1 whose voltage reaches the saturated level can be recognized as the detection signal of the woven fabric and the warp sheet. After the weft sensor advances into a warp opening, in a detection signal V2 which detects reflected light from the wall surface of a weft guide passage, the amount of received light is small, and a voltage level is close to zero. When a weft Y passes through the inside of a guide passage 4, the weft sensor receives reflected light from the weft and detects a detection signal V3 having a voltage level changed. As a result, the detection signal V3 having the voltage level changed which is detected after the detection signal V1 falls from the saturated level can be recognized as the detection signal of the weft, so that the weft can be accurately detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
