Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain high speed display, input edit and print-out of an optional page by providing a file means having a document file, an address table file and a format information file respectively and independently. CONSTITUTION:A document data from a data supply source 10 accesses a disc 6 via a control means 11 and transferred to a file generating means 12 generating three files, an address table file, a format information file and a sentence data file or an output means 14 using a print means 15 via a character generator 3 so as to print out the data as a printed matter or displaying the data on a CRT through a makeup means 13. In this case, start format information and a document data are provided at each prescribed area independently, a page address table managing each address is provided so as to change over the format information at each prescribed area freely and to execute input/edit of the document data in a conversational way and the confirmation of layout at the same time.
