Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a banding apparatus capable of preventing a band medium on which printing and/or impressing have been performed before occurrence of an error related to banding processing from being unwound from a feeding part and conveyed to a banding part when removing the cause of the error after the occurrence of the error, and thus making the contents printed and/or impressed on the band medium which bands paper sheets proper, and a banding method.SOLUTION: The banding apparatus (for example, a bill processor) has a control section for controlling the feeding part (for example, an unwinding roll 51) to rewind the band media (for example, band paper) when an error detection part detects an error related to banding processing. The control section controls a notification part (for example, an operation display part) to notify an operator of a guidance to remove a part of the band medium including a portion where printing or the like has been performed when the error detection part detects the error.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
