Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of positional deviation due to writing processing when vibration is applied to a light-emitting element array.SOLUTION: A writing device includes: a writing unit which has a plurality of light-emitting element arrays in which light-emitting elements are arrayed in a prescribed direction and executes writing processing for forming a latent image on a photoreceptor by causing each of the light-emitting element arrays to emit light; and a writing control unit which adjusts the occurrence timing of a writing period signal of the light-emitting element arrays and a turn-on signal of the light-emitting element arrays in accordance with the vibration amount applied to each of the light-emitting element arrays. When the vibration amount exceeds a prescribed threshold, the writing control unit adjusts the occurrence timing of both writing period signal and turn-on signal. When the vibration amount is less than the prescribed threshold, the writing control unit adjusts the occurrence timing of the turn-on signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
