Abstract:
A 1,2-dithiolane compound with antibacterial and cell growth inhibitory activities represented by general formula (I), wherein n represents an integer of 0 to 2; R1 represents OR3 (wherein R3 represents hydrogen or lower alkyl), NR4R5 (wherein R4 and R5 may be the same or different from each other and each represents hydrogen, lower alkyl, alicyclic alkyl or benzyl), or alpha (wherein p represents an integer of 2 to 8); and R2 represents hydrogen or lower alkyl.
