Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide a novel compound having few adverse side-effects such
as bradycardia and also having an excellent effect of reducing the number of lymphocytes
in the peripheral blood. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Disclosed is a 2-aminobutanol
compound represented by the general formula (I) shown below, a pharmaceutically
acceptable acid addition salt thereof, or a hydrate or solvate of the compound
or the acid addition salt. Also disclosed is a process for production of the 2-aminobutanol
compound. (I) wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom
or P(=O)(OH)2; R2 represents an alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon
atoms which may be substituted by a hydroxyl group or a halogen atom; R3
represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a cyano, an alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon
atoms which may be substituted by a halogen atom, or an acyl having 2 to 5 carbon
atoms which may be subsituted by a halogen atom; X represents an oxygen atom, a
sulfur atom, a carbonyl or NR4 (wherein R4 represents a hydrogen
atom or an alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; Ar1 represents an arylene
which may be substituted or a heteroarylene which may be substituted; and Ar2
represents an aryl which may be substituted or a hateroaryl which may be subsituted,
provided that, when X represents an oxygen atom, Ar1 represents a phenylene
and Ar2 represents a phenyl group, the phenyl group corresponding
to Ar2 is substituted.
