Abstract:
The present invention relates to a 3-dimensional multi-stage ionizer and a tornado ion accelerator in which one or more ionizing parts: include a base plate having a positive (+) electrode and a top plate disposed on a surface opposed to the base plate and having a negative (-) electrode; and are arrayed in-line. Pulse-type high voltage is applied to each ionizing part, and gradually increases from the ionizing part disposed at one end toward the ionizing part disposed at the other end. According to the present invention, induction coils are provided, and power is supplied to the induction coils to direct a magnetic field to the outside of the tornado ion accelerator. When the tornado ion accelerator is viewed from the direction facing the direction of the magnetic field, the power is sequentially supplied clockwise to the induction coils. Accordingly, a large amount of ions produced between the positive (+) electrode and the negative (-) electrode are linearly transferred by van der Waals repulsive forces between the ions, thereby increasing the distance over which the ions are transferred in a certain direction without using a separate blower fan.
