Abstract:
A 3D display device (1000) and a preparation method therefor. Metal nanowires (111, 121, 211, 221) perpendicular to each other are provided at the side of a thin film transistor glass substrate (100) and the side of a color film glass substrate (200). The metal nanowires (111, 121, 211, 221) can achieve functions of polarizers at the side of the original thin film transistor glass substrate (100) and the side of the color film glass substrate (200), and can make the emergent light become stripe-shaped polarized light perpendicular to each other. Therefore, the polarizers at the side of the thin film transistor glass substrate (100) and the side of the color film glass substrate (200) in an original polarization type 3D display, a stripe-shaped λ/2 phase delay plate, stripe-shaped polarizers having polarization directions perpendicular to each other are omitted, so that the 3D display device (1000) is thinner. Furthermore, the polarization effect is not limited by the wavelength range of the light according to the structural design. Therefore, the 3D stereoscopic display effect is significantly improved.
