A 3D video coding/decoding apparatus and a 3D video coding/decoding method are disclosed. The 3D video coding/decoding apparatus can code/decode a video according to existing techniques, such as a prediction technique, an interview prediction technique or a view synthesis technique, and can efficiently transmit a coding mode according to a prediction technique.
