Abstract:
A 4-aminocarbazole compound represented by general formula (1). In the formula, each of Ar1-Ar4 represents a substituted or unsubstituted aryl, thienyl, pyridyl, benzothienyl, dibenzothienyl, dibenzofuranyl, 4-carbazolyl, dibenzothienyl phenyl, dibenzofuranyl phenyl or 9-carbazolyl phenyl group; each of R1-R7 represents a substituted or unsubstituted aryl, heteroaryl or heteroaryl phenyl group, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a cyano group, a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom; n represents an integer of 0-2; X represents a substituted or unsubstituted (n + 1)-valent aromatic hydrocarbon, heteroaromatic or heteroaryl phenyl group. The 4-aminocarbazole compound provides an organic EL element that has high luminous efficiency and excellent durability.
