Abstract:
5,5'-linked 1,1'-biphenyl axial chiral ligands in the field of chemical engineering technique are disclosed. The present ligands have both central chirality of oxazoline and axial chirality of biphenyl. The present ligands are expected to be highly effective and highly stereoselective as chiral ligands for various types of metal-catalyzed asymmetric reactions and display wide utility. The general structure of the present ligands is: in which n=5,6,7,8,9,10,11 or 12;R1=hydrogen, alkyl, substituted aryl, substituted benzyl; R2=hydrogen, alkyl, substituted aryl,substituted benzyl; R3=hydrogen, alkyl, substituted aryl, substituted benzyl;R4= hydrogen, alkyl, substituted aryl, substituted benzyl.
