Abstract:
Disclosed are a 690 MPa grade super-thick steel plate and a manufacturing method therefor. The mass percentage contents of the chemical components thereof are as follows: 0.04-0.08% of C, 5.2-6.0% of Mn, 0.1-0.4% of Si, 0.1-0.5% of Mo, 0.2-0.6% of Ni, 0.2-0.6% of Cr, 0.01-0.05% of Ti, S: ≤0.005%, P: ≤0.010%, and the balance being Fe and impurities. The steel plate has manganese as a main alloying element, and has a reduced amount of expensive elements, such as nickel, added during the manufacturing of the super-thick steel plate, thereby reducing alloying costs. A super-thick steel plate prepared by using a specific manufacturing process has excellent core mechanical properties such as a high strength, a high plasticity and a high toughness, as well as lamellar tearing resistance, and can meet the requirements of strict service environments, such as ocean engineering, for high-performance super-thick steel plates.
