Abstract:
A ω-7 fatty acid composition using tribonema obtained by heterotrophic culture and/or mixotrophic culture as a raw material, and a method for culturing tribonema by means of heterotrophic culture and/or mixotrophic culture. In the ω-7 fatty acid composition, the content of ω-7 fatty acid is 30% to 70%. The culturing method involves nutrient composition of a culture medium, culturing conditions, and operating steps of the culturing process. The method can be applied to the production of tribonema biomass, grease rich in ω-7 fatty acid, and products using the biomass and/or the grease as raw materials.
