Abstract:

Disclosed are a 7xxx series aluminum alloy or plate, a manufacturing method therefor, a processing method therefor, and an application thereof in the manufacture of vehicle parts. The 7xxx series aluminum alloy or plate has a chemical composition of, in weight percentage, 5.1-10.0% of Zn, 2.0-3.2% of Mg, 1.2-3.0% of Cu, 0-0.5% of Fe, 0-0.4% of Si, 0-0.2% of Ti, 0-0.1% of Cr, 0-0.055% of Zr, 0-0.25% of Mn, 0-0.30% of other elements for grain size control, and the remainder being Al. The 7xxx series aluminum alloy or plate is particularly suitable for integrated thermoforming-quenching processing.
