Abstract:
An abnormal torque evaluation apparatus is applied to an electrically driven vehicle (1) that drives the left and right driving wheels (2L, 2R) independently with electric motors (3L, 3R), and that drives the left and right driving wheels (2L, 2R) independently, using electric motors (3L, 3R) that drive the wheels in accordance with torque commands (TL, TR). The abnormal torque evaluation apparatus is provided with a yaw jerk detecting means (11) for detecting yaw jerk (dγ), and an abnormal torque evaluator (21) for evaluating whether any abnormal motor torque is being generated at the electric motors (3L, 3R), on the basis of the yaw jerk (dγ).
