Title:
ABNORMALITY DETECTION DEVICE FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/142046
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An abnormality detection device for an automatic transmission according to the present invention comprises: an automatic transmission (5A) that is coupled to a vehicle drive source (1, 3) via a clutch (4a); a range detector (14) that detects the selection range of a selector lever (9) and outputs a detection signal; and a manual valve (90) that engages the clutch (4a) and sets the automatic transmission (5A) to a power transmission state when the selector lever (9) is in a travel range position, and disengages the clutch (4a) and sets the automatic transmission (5A) to a non-power-transmission state when the selector lever (9) is in a position other than a travel range position. The abnormality detection device for an automatic transmission comprises: an engagement control means (10B) that performs engagement control on the clutch (4a) towards the engagement direction from the disengaged state if a no-signal state in which no signal is output from the range detector (14) continues for at least a first prescribed period of time; an engagement identification means (10C) that identifies the engagement of the clutch (4a) during the engagement control; and an abnormality determination means (10D) that determines that there is a no-signal abnormality in which the range detector (14) does not output signals if the engagement of the clutch (4a) is identified.
