Abstract:
This abnormality detection device 1 has: an air intake amount acquisition unit 141 that acquires air intake amount data that indicates the air intake amount when an EGR valve 52 is in a prescribed state, said amount being measured at a plurality of different times; a storage unit 13 that associates a plurality of pieces of air intake amount data acquired by the air intake amount acquisition unit 141 with the times at which the air intake amount is measured and stores said data; and an abnormality detection unit 142 that detects an abnormality in the EGR valve 52 on the basis of a trend in the variation of the air intake amounts measured during a prescribed period.
