Title:
ABNORMALITY DETECTION DEVICE, AND ABNORMALITY DETECTION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/002013
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Because vehicles are electronically controlled, there is a threat of being fraudulently operated by the imitation of a control command. Because a similar threat exists for service-oriented communications, detection devices that detect an abnormality in a communication encryption device, a transmission source or a transmission destination have been proposed. However, there is a problem that it is not easy to maintain the safety of service-oriented communications while maintaining software portability, which is an advantage of using service-oriented communications. Provided is an abnormality detection device, and by using the same in an in-vehicle network, SOME/IP-SD communication frames are monitored and detection rules are dynamically generated, thereby eliminating the need to set, in advance, a transmission destination IP address and a transmission source IP address. By adopting a method that uses the dynamically generated detection rules to monitor the SOME/IP communication frames and to detect an abnormal frame, it is possible to provide safe automatic driving and an advanced driving assistance system without losing the portability of service-oriented communications.
