Abstract:
This abnormality detection device detects abnormalities in a rotation mechanism 104 including a rotating shaft 101, a bearing 102 that supports the rotating shaft 101 in a rotatable manner, and a gear 103 that rotates integrally with the rotating shaft 101. The abnormality detection device compares an actual rotational fluctuation characteristic of the rotating shaft 101 when the rotating shaft 101 is rotating at a specific rotation speed with a normal rotational fluctuation characteristic, and detects an abnormality in the rotation mechanism 104 resulting from seizure of the bearing 102 if the amount of upward shift of the actual rotational fluctuation characteristic relative to the normal rotational fluctuation characteristic is greater than or equal to a bearing abnormality determination threshold and detects an abnormality in the rotation mechanism 104 resulting from wear of the gear 103 if the amount of increase in the amplitude of the actual rotational fluctuation characteristic relative to the normal rotational fluctuation characteristic is greater than or equal to a gear abnormality determination threshold.
