Abstract:
A UVW-phase inverter circuit (110) and an XYW-phase inverter circuit (120) for controlling a motor having a plurality of UVW-phase and XYZ-phase winding groups receive inverter control signals (Su-Sz) for the respective phases. The inverter control signals (Su-Sz) for the respective phases are generated, on the basis of the currents of the respective phases of a motor, as pulse signals having cycles depending on the rotational speed of the motor. An abnormality detection circuit (130) has a function for detecting the pulse cycles of the inverter control signals for the respective phases and is configured so as to detect the presence or absence of an abnormality of a motor control according to whether or not a predetermined magnitude relationship following the arrangement order of the UVW-phase and the XYZ-phase is established among the pulse cycles of the inverter control signals for the respective phases during at least one of the acceleration and deceleration state periods of the motor.
