Abstract:
Detection elements of an array sensor 12B detect infrared light in a band near 4.5 µm and convert the same to a DC-component electrical signal. Detection elements of an array sensor 14B detect infrared light in a band near 4.5 µm and convert the same to a DC-component electrical signal. Detection elements of an array sensor 16B detect infrared light in a band near 4.5 µm and convert the same to a DC-component electrical signal. A second computation processing unit 30 calculates a moving average value of the electrical signals detected by the detection elements of the array sensor 12B, a moving average value of the electrical signals detected by the detection elements of the array sensor 14B, and a moving average value of the electrical signals detected by the detection elements of the array sensor 16B, and determines whether or not a flame or abnormal temperature has been detected by the detection elements, said determination being performed on the basis of a first change amount, a second change amount, and a third change amount from the moving average values. A flame or abnormal temperature can thereby be detected with good precision at each position.
