Abstract:
Provided are an abnormality diagnosis device designed so as to be capable of identifying abnormalities in an ammonia slip catalyst provided downstream of a selective reduction catalyst, and an exhaust purification device of an internal combustion engine comprising such an abnormality diagnosis device. The abnormality diagnosis device comprises a purification rate diagnosis part for diagnosing the NOx purification rate in the exhaust purification device, and an abnormality determination part for identifying abnormalities in the ammonia slip catalyst on the basis of the result of diagnosing the NOx purification rate obtained during high load operation of the internal combustion engine and the result of diagnosing the NOx purification rate obtained during low load operation of the internal combustion engine.
