Abstract:
An abnormality diagnosis device performs an abnormality diagnosis of a system in which a dynamo-electric machine (21) is mounted. The abnormality diagnosis device is provided with: an abnormality detection unit for detecting abnormalities in the system; a fail-safe processing unit for executing a fail-safe process for controlling the dynamo-electric machine in a safe manner when an abnormality has been detected by the abnormality detection unit; an abnormality signal generation unit for generating a false abnormality signal suggesting that an abnormality has occurred that requires execution of the fail-safe process during normal operation of the system; and an operation confirmation unit for executing an operation confirmation of whether the fail-safe process is operating normally, on the basis of the false abnormality signal generated by the abnormality signal generation unit.
